"Very good thank you"

"The Pacific Motor Inn was recently refurbished and the new owners went above and beyond. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. They put a great deal into the decor, very nice dishes in the kitchen and a great bathroom with heated towel racks and a lovely deep tub. It was very centrally located with ample parking, a small pool and complimentary laundry facilities (which we were very thankful for). I highly recommend the Pacific Motor Inn. "

I had never stayed there before, so this was a new one for me, and I just really enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend to anybody that's in Tauranga. Key highlights: 1. Great location 2. "I was disappointed with the overall attention to detail during my stay. The condition of the linen was below expectations, with towels and bedding appearing worn and discoloured rather than clean and fresh. The pillows were old, thin, and mismatched, and the pillowcases appeared grey despite originally being white. The face cloths were also not in a usable condition. As a result, I felt more comfortable borrowing towels from a friend who lives nearby. The duvet inners were thin and dated, and did not have covers, which impacted comfort. In the kitchen, utensils and glassware were mismatched, and the tea towels were not usable. This stay was intended to be a special weekend away for a friend and I, and it was a significant cost for us. Unfortunately, the quality of the room did not reflect the price or the occasion. While the location is convenient and the parking is good, the overall standard did not meet expectations. As a result, I would not choose to stay here again."

"Great location with an easy walk to the shops and restaurants on the strand. "

"I did not enjoy my stay. My "balcony" door opened up to a shared wharf of random people looking around, and my room looked directly into the restaurant so people having dinner could see me in my room. They also had an event in the evening and the noise was LOUD. I called reception and no one answered, and then they completely ignored my message. Not pleasant at all, do not recommend."

"Everything was fine, check in is a bit clunky. Nowhere to park as no access to parking until you have your key. Need to phone to get someone to come down and check you in. Took a while when double parked. Once settled it was fine, plenty of room and a good location. "
