"We enjoyed our stay in Poipu. A quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the beach. Many amenities were provided for inside and outside. This included a cooler, beach chairs and other beach equipment. Cam gave us a gift of chocolate covered macadamia nuts and left us some bananas from his property."

"The location is amazing and conveniently located. When we walked into the unit we could immediately hear the waves crashing. Each morning and evening we enjoyed the views from lanai. The unit was a good size for 2 people, but some of the furniture was “tired” and uncomfortable. It also would have been nice if the bedroom had a small tv for the option to wind down and relax in the bedroom."

We had an extremely rainy trip with only one and a half nice days of weather & still wish we stayed for our entire 17 day trip to Hawaii (our weather on the other islands was perfect). "This property needs some updating. The window air conditioners were very noisy, especially at night. There was some need to fix molding in the house and just make it feel cleaner. The cleaning was done but the facility is older. Using the patio door to get outside was difficult."

"Great home base for our family (5 and 8 year old shared a room with their own twin beds), very close to many fun and kid friendly beaches. You can access resorts and golf courses nearby. And they had beach chairs, boogie boards and snorkeling gear available to use, plus the onsite tennis court included pickle ball equipment to play at your leisure. Lovely and comfortable layout and great communication with the property manager via Vacasa. Would definitely recommend!"

"Location is perfect for this rental. Close to the airport, but no too close, also centrally located to access all the things Kaua'i has to offer. The resort is amazing with all the amenities mentioned in the listing. The ocean is rather rough right in front of the resort, but there is a little wave break area where little ones could toddle in the water. "We enjoyed our stay at Kuhio Shores. The condo was comfortable for two people. We enjoyed sunrise on the lanai in the mornings and watching the turtles in the afternoon. The only thing we missed was an ice maker but we were able to buy a bag of ice to fit in the freezer. The property is clean, safe and easy to get around. We definitely would recommend staying here."
