"Cobble Mountain Lodge was a great place for our little family of three to use as a base to hike and explore the Lake Placid region. The cabin was cozy and fun, the a/c worked well, and the outdoor space and grill was quite helpful as we cooked a lot and the indoor space was not conducive to large meals. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay here again. There's even a short, nice, pedestrian friendly walk to Mirror Lake and the Lake Placid brewery."

"Could be great. Nice cabin but very limited with supplies if staying longer than a couple days. Couch in living room needs replacing. Limited seating if there are multiple people in your group. Outside was not maintained, grass was not cut and high which made it tough with the dog. A few corrections and this place would be amazing. I would stay again for my visit to Lake Placid and surrounding area."
