"Fine, friendly, liked the inclusive treats (jelly beans, limoncello). Would have preferred a higher room than the basement. Curtains open means those in car park could see directly in, at least have some frosting. Otherwise good though! "

"A very old property which needs some very much needed maintenance. The first room we were offered had the bathroom sink nearly hanging off the wall, and the upgraded room had a bath which was unusable because the waste had fallen off the side of the very deep bath. We felt that the gardens needed some care and attention as they could be really lovely. The cooked to order breakfasts each morning were tepid and not fresh, as though they had been cooked and left to stand for ages, not cooked...

"very friendly ladies at the front desk. Room was very clean, and my only gripe was that the Body/Hand wash dispenser in the shower was empty - nobody likes getting out of the shower to find soap from the sink. Restaurant was great. As an American, Nescafe does not count as morning coffee though!"
