"Stayed her during hot weather, the outside space was amazing, plenty of seating areas and great for dining out. Fabulous BBQ to use also. Carl was a very good host, met us at the property and explained many things, gave good suggestions for eating out etc. Lovely big lounge area also."

The house got double booked so we had 2 women & a bloke banging the door, who threatened to put all the windows through & my car windows before I said “please don’t, that’s my car!” Ants on the kitchen work surfaces. "The property is in need of decoration, and maybe a new front door ? For the price, we expected a lot better. Don’t like the idea of a security camera pointing right at you in the back garden (and I don’t believe it has anything to do with security) Paying a fee for a deep clean ? The table in kitchen was tacky to the touch, with stains. Parts of cooker was greasy. Also importantly; the pics are NOT a true depiction of the size of the property. "Beautiful and peaceful property tucked away in the hills on the edge of a town with hundreds of years of history. An hour from London or less. Clean and comfortable living and kitchen area, comfy beds, great showers. Friendly hosts who are available if needed. We very much enjoyed our stay there and the wildlife, and the great play area with swings for children."

"Very cozy and beautiful country setting with remarkable gardens. We took many meals from the on-site restaurant (we were without a car), and the food was outstanding. I recommend having a vehicle for supplies and activities unless you’re looking for a quiet retreat in the countryside. "
