A quality stay. Staff superb. Unfortunately, there is a migrant camp across the street from them now, but will be relocated in the near future. So, getting there is not a pleasant experience. Once inside behind the wall and gated entry, one enters beautiful gardens, the the interior itself is immaculate. Again, the staff is exceptional. Thank you Brian, Shepard and the chef Martha.

I stayed At the Metcourt on an overnight layover. The hotel is close to the airport and offers airport shuttle service every 20 minutes. Better than the "airport" hotels, hotels at the Emporor's Palace have access to dozens of eateries, shopping, and the casino. The hotel shuttle stops behind the Intercontinental Hotel at O. R. You will be greeted by two of the cutest dogs when you check in. The hotel is like a bed a breakfast except the house is more like a mansion. The hotel and grounds are beautiful with colorful flowers and other foliage. The personnel were extremely hospitable and they drove us to the supermarket to get some medicine for my friends who had acquired travelers illness before we arrived. Extremely clean rooms, helpful staff. The restaurant is truly amazing. We arrived on the Blue Train and stayed 3 nights on the way to Victoria Falls. The driver said most guests arrive or deposit by the Blue Train or Rovos Rail and spend only 1 night. What a pity! The hotel is such a wonderful experience in itself. Opikopi is our goto B&B when in Pretoria. The facilities are great and the staff is always friendly and helpful. This time around, we stayed in the small cottage that can sleep 8, and it was super comfortable.

Honestly such a wonderful experience, a big shoutout to Expedia for having fantastic customer service. We initially had a major issue with our booking but they assisted swiftly and ensured we had an even better place to stay.

They were very helpful from the first call about transportation from the airport (offered to arrange a car but said I should check with Uber who gives individuals better transportation rates).
