"Overnight stay to be able to attend Ship Chic in Shipshewana. Needed a place with 4 bedrooms for 4 adult females. Emma’s place fit the bill. Great communication, adorable house. Only issue was garage next door had roofers starting at 7:30 am and property owner has no control over that. We’re hoping to travel up that way again and would love to have a repeat stay at Emma’s Place"

"We loved our stay at this property. It was a great country setting and very comfortable. The furniture was like new and very comfortable. Many extras like coffee and tea. They provided soaps, shampoo, and plenty of bath towels and wash cloths. The owner checked on us to make sure we were happy with everything and wanted to know if we needed anything. This house is very convenient to all of the attractions and shopping in Shipshewana. You can't go wrong staying here. I would highly recommend this...

"Upon arrival the house was smaller than expected but after we checked in it was perfect . Everything worked as it should and there were no issues the whole time we were there . The owner supplied free firewood for the late nights outside while the deck at the waterfront and large docking area for the boats was appreciated much as well . "It was a very calm and quiet location. Great accomodtions and helpful host. And... the paddle boat was a real hit with mu grandson. Also, met the neighbor who was very kind and friendly. Finally, I have to add that it was a wonderful sound of silence with no power boats of any kind being allowed on this lake."

"The 4 parking spaces up top that belonged to the house were filled with cars from people renting the house next door. Had to park down the drive by the side door. Walking into the house there was an OVERWHELMING smell of gas & sulfer. Opened windows to air it out but the smell never went away. The set up of the house was really cute with a nice living space downstairs. It was hot upstairs in the bedrooms even with the air set to 66 so we slept downstairs on the couch. "We were very happy with our stay. While the property looked like a cabin from the outside, it was very modern on the inside. It was furnished very nicely and the kitchen had all the dishes and utensils that we needed. The cabin is located on a main street in Shipshewana where many, many Amish residents pass by in their buggies. Our favorite pastime was sitting on the front porch and hearing the clip clop of distant horses hooves and waiting for them to pass by pulling a carriage. We will...

"This home is very spacious and private. I stayed here with my family. We had a total of 9 adults and 4 teens. There was a lot of room and we did not feel like we were on top of each other. The kitchen was well equipped with supplies for cooking. The home was clean upon arrival. The owner was great! He had great communication before our arrival and was great about checking on us during our stay. We would absolutely love to rent this home again if we were to return to Michigan."
