"A lovely property backing on to the main road to Oban. Had everything we needed for a great extended family weekend. All enjoyed the fabulous hot tub and we made good use of the BBQ and fire pit table in the evenings. A couple of snags and Gillian got on to them straight away, thank you!"

"We had a great stay and the location was very close to Oban which was convenient. However the kitchen was very lowly stocked. Generally with our previous experience with vrbo, there was at least some oil for cooking, which was not the case here. Also, the toilets work very poorly and required flushing 3+ times for even a minimal amount of toilet paper which was a bit stressful."

"Beautiful home in a lovely part of the highlands. Very easy check in and out. Wish we would’ve had more time to spend here on our trip. Just be mindful of the tunnel on the drive in."

"Stayed for a week in this cottage with fabulous views. Very clean and just about everything you need. We were only missing a corkscrew and egg cups, but anything else you need is there. Not quite as homely as we would have hoped as the cottage is quite sparse, but still had a wonderful time. Great to be able to access the canal and take a nice long walk to Neptune’s staircase from the cottage!"

"Short drive to Oban where you can explore all the islands via the ferry. Perfect location. The view from the place was incredible and the place itself was spacious, clean, perfect really. Highly recommend it without any hesitation!"

"The accommodation was to a high standard and very comfortable with stunning views. Lismore is a wonderful, tranquil island, rich in wildlife and beautiful scenery. Otters and seals spotted daily from the accommodation. Mother otter and pup seen at Point and Port Ramsay during the day. Loved watching the nesting birds and geese with small goslings. Hope to be back."

"The cottage was clean, cozy, and much larger than I expected! It was in a fairly out of the way location (but not far at all from Oban) that was great for avoiding city traffic. Our host Maureen was very nice and friendly and If/when we travel back to Scotland, and plan on visiting Oban, we would happily stay here again."

"A great property in a fabulous location and very well equipped too. Andrew was extremely helpful and responsive and we were made to feel welcome and valued. Red deer stags walking past your front door, a sighting of a pine marten, eagles soaring overhead and an otter swimming in the mirror like water. A little taste of paradise!"

"We have stayed in vrbo properties around the UK for years and this might be our favorite so far. Immaculate, roomy, with easy access to the roads to take our family of five on many hikes and adventures while having a cozy home base to return to when we were done with our day. Could not recommend more for anyone looking to stay around Glencoe."

"The Braemar House was perfectly located to explore and enjoy Oban. It was an easy walk to the downtown area (and the Oban Distillery). The views from the property of the bay, with the Isle of Mull in the distance was amazing."

Apartment has all amenities so you can cook and eat in, but is also very close to tons of restaurants etc. (including right next door). Nicely decorated place as well. Everything was clean and comfortable."

"We have stayed at this property before and have come back for Hogmanay. We have had an amazing time. It is so peaceful and quiet and the wildlife is stupendous. The cottage is so warm and welcoming especially with the open fire. We love it and will be back."
