"Conveniently located and communication with Amy, our host was awesome! Online description was accurate. There was a record player with a great selection of music unfortunately the arm of record player needs a needle to work. Over all our week stay was perfect ! Thank you "
"The room was spacious and clean. Air conditioning worked great on hot days. Slept well. Was off the road just enough to be quiet but still close to everything. "
WiFi, Hot Tub, Pets, Prime Location in Red River Gorge!
10/10 Excellent
"It was centrally located. Our only issue was we are animal rights activists. The people across the street kept a dog on a chain most of the time we were there - in the heat or rain but they had another dog that was inside and brought out on a leash. Not your fault but it was hard for us to sleep knowing that dog was chained up outside. it is illegal to do that in Tennessee but we undertand there isn't a no chain law in Kentucky. "
Hot Tub, WiFi & Pool Table - Perfect Cabin Retreat - Mountain Rose - Getaway to Red River Gorge, KY!
10/10 Excellent
"The cabin was perfect. Location to eveything is great, only a few miles to just about everything. It was super clean, the hottub was well maintained and the pool table was an added bonus. "
"The property was true to the listing. We had everything we needed for our family getaway in the gorge area. Busy days and peace and quiet in the evenings. Several wildlife sightings. Would recommend this property."
"Freedom Falls Cabin provided the most relaxing getaway. The property is incredibly private and serene—surrounded by waterfall(s), quiet, and beauty. We felt safe, welcomed, and completely at ease. Our kids (ages 8m-13y) all loved exploring the property (no poison ivy!), campfires in both fire pits, there was plenty of space for our entire family (2adults-5kids) to sleep comfortably and eat as a family. The cabin was spotless & stocked with everything we needed - pleasantly surprised by how well-equipped the kitchen was—seasonings, utensils, dishes, pots, pans, & baking sheets. Fridge/Freezer, microwave, toaster, oven worked as expected. The hosts thought of everything, including essentials like towels, toilet paper, paper towels, and sweet touches like hand soaps & hair dryers. The ambiance was truly perfect— CLEAN, cozy, & warm, with a light and bright aesthetic that made it feel both spacious and inviting. They nailed the “cabin in the woods” vibe with tasteful black bear décor, but w/o the dark, grungy or outdated feel you sometimes find in rustic rentals. We’re very impressed with the WiFi and cell service— it was very strong and reliable (we have Verizon but one of our guests did not get cell service with AT&T but the WiFi solved that problem). A few things we were happy to be aware of beforehand: bring drinking water and do not be so anxious about the hills to get to the cabin - our minivan did just fine! All in all, this cabin exceeded our expectations in every way! "
