"Breakfast was great. We had ordered ala carte dinner and all items were very delicious. Staff was very respectful and friendly. The coffee shop had amazing tea and coffee. We didn’t venture out there for shops so can’t say anything about other nearby shopping stores. Rooms were spacious and clean. They had a common room to use with sofa etc. Loved the stay in this ryokan."

"The property is very clean, well organized and pretty roomy with a living area and separate bedroom. It is in a nice quiet residential area within walking distance of one famous shrine (Kinkaku-ji) but has a few lovely local shrines all around. Communication and directions were excellent. We loved it!"
