BEAUTIFULLY REMODELED WITH GREAT OCEAN VIEW!

BEAUTIFUL OCEAN VIEW AND NICELY REMODELED with fully equipped kitchen, granite counters, bamboo cabinets and stainless appliances. New bathroom with granite and tiled shower and fixtures. New tile flooring throughout. Same fabulous ocean view from the lanai and complimentary beach gear for your use. Sugar Beach Resort is the only place many of our visitors will stay, year after year. An expansive golden sand beach faces the property, and within a few seconds from our unit's building, the longest walking beach in Kihei awaits.

A beautiful heated swimming pool and spa sits close to the ocean, and the beach a few feet away is a wonderful place to end the day with one of Maui's spectacular sunsets. "Dina's Sandwitch", the on site bar and grill, serves up some of the best sandwiches on the island. It's also a great place to gather for a cocktail. No wonder they have great ratings on Yelp.

This immaculate 1-bedroom/1-bath condo has a privacy door, enabling living room guests and bedroom guests to maintain private bathroom access. Central AC, cable, and high speed internet are complimentary. Parking is free.

Enjoyable 1st visit to Maui

Great beachfront location on the north end of Kihei. Unit very clean, very modern, and well stocked. Loved having the beach accessories available for use. Would highly recommend this property if you don't want or need to be closer to town. Close enough!

Great Place!

Very nice place, unit and grounds are well maintained. The furniture and some of the cookware in the unit is somewhat dated but not terrible. Would definitely stay here again for the price.

Second time staying at this condo and loved it.

We love this condo. Have stayed there twice and was hoping we could stay there the same dates in 2026 unfortunately it was already booked. But we were lucky enough to find another condo in the same building. This condo is perfect. Amazing location, quiet, great pool area. The grounds people do an amazing job of maintaining the pool and surrounding grounds. Just can’t say enough good things about Suagr beach

Perfect condo

Location is great, it is right on the beach and shaved ice, bakery and ABC convenience store are within a few minutes walk. The property grounds and facilities are very clean, parking is easy, pool and bbq area are great. The location is central to anywhere you need to drive to. The condo itself is very clean, bed was comfortable, kitchen had all amenities needed and overall it is a very nice home.

The Perfect Location

We loved our stay at the Sugar Beach resort, not only was it in a great location to explore everything that Maui had to offer but it was the perfect place to recharge after a day at the beach or a day out and about exploring. The suit itself was well maintained and very clean upon arrival. The whole resort was impeccable and well taken care of. If you are travelling to Maui, I would highly recommend staying at the Sugar Beach resort. PS. You must try the sandwich shop located on resort, It is awesome!

Really enjoyed the property. beach was quiet, property was well kept, and condo had most everything you could need. Only Con is that the sofa sleeper needs updated. uncomfortable and every time there is movement it squeaks and everybody can hear it. tough to use this as a family of four. unless mattress gets replaced i wouldn't plan to use the sofa sleeper if you or anybody wants a good night sleep. thanks for sharing your property.

Maui Vacation

We had a wonderful time at the South Beach Resort. The unit was clean and the beds were comfortable. AC in the unit was also a plus as were the views of the ocean from the lanai. We would definitely come back!

Home away from Home

First I have to say how amazing Sherry is, fast to get back to you and makes you feel like a friend reaching out. Accommodations is exactly as stated. Loved our trip and room we booked for next year already. The staff at the resort are so hard working and grounds are very well kept. Lots of chairs at the pool to choose from. This property was beautiful and so clean! Sherry was wonderful about answering our questions. It did get really windy on this side of the island around lunch time so it wasn’t a beach that we would just hang out at, but it was still a perfect place to stay as we were always on the move driving places! We would definitely recommend sand would love to go back someday!

Great Stay

We have been to Sugar Beach Resort before and love this location. This unit is as described. It was very clean, nice starter amenities and Sherry was a dream to work with. I would definitely recommend this unit. We hope to return in a few years. Thanks again Sherry for all your help!

Great room with many amenities nearby

Room was updated and a lot nicer than a lot of other rooms we visited. Everything worked well and the property manager was very responsive. Air conditioning worked well but the bedroom was a little warmer. Also, we would have preferred blackout curtains in the bedroom. We were very pleased with the room and property.

A great condo with a beautiful setting

The condo is nicely furnished and well equipped for all needs. When you sit on the lanai, you overlook the pool and the beach, but the shops are directly to your right. Sugar Beach is a bit of a drive to restaurants and shops in Kihei and Wailea. You can walk on the beach, but there was some run off, so the water was not clear to swim in. The pool and hot tub were really nice and the grounds are impeccably cared for. Our check in time was 3:00. We arrived at 3:20 and the cleaner was apologetic, but asked us to come back in 40 minutes. Even though check out time was posted as 11;00, the code on the door turned off at 10:30, and the cleaning service knocked on the door at 10. Despite these minor inconveniences, it is a lovely condo in a lovely setting and we would stay here again.

Great base location

Arrived late in the evening on the day before Thanksgiving finding the condo not finished cleaning. There were cleaning supplies on the counter, floor mats on the counter, vacuum and steam mop in walk way, full trash can, dirty sheets and bedding in the pull out couch, stained mattress cover on the pull out couch, no toilet paper, damp blanket in the dryer. But the communication with the property manager, Sherry, was great from the start. Contacted her and she immediately responded. Options were to move to a different condo in a different building or stay and Sherry comes to grab the left over cleaning supplies. We chose the later since we had been traveling all day and had 2 very exhausted young children. Luckily, there was a new set of sheets in the closet for the pullout couch we could use as well. Sherry made the drive to the condo late at night to pick up the cleaning stuff and bring us a couple rolls of toilet paper in order for us to settle in for the night. We appreciated that so much. After that initial evening, it was a smooth, easy stay. Loved the sunset view from the lanai. The property is clean and well maintained. And loved that you can walk right out to the beach. Appreciated Sherry's responsiveness and willingness to make things right for us upon arrival and staying in touch with us to ensure it was a pleasant stay. This was a nice condo as a base for our travels in Maui. We loved the Kihei area from the first time we visited Maui in 2016.
