Located directly across from Kamaole Beach Park II in sunny South Maui, this inviting retreat sleeps up to four guests and offers the perfect setting for a memorable Maui vacation.

    Start your mornings with coffee on your private lanai while enjoying sweeping ocean views and refreshing island breezes. During whale season, typically mid-December through April, watch for humpback whales offshore. In the evening, unwind with spectacular sunsets and peaceful stargazing.

    The bright living area features comfortable seating, a 50-inch Smart TV, split A/C, and a pull-out sofa for additional sleeping space. The primary bedroom offers a king bed and split A/C for restful nights.

    Prepare delicious island-inspired meals in the fully equipped kitchen featuring a gas stove, cookware, and dining essentials. Enjoy meals at the dining table or relax after a day exploring Maui. An in-unit washer and dryer adds convenience for longer stays.

We have stayed at the Kihei Akahi complex many times. This unit has been our favorite so far. It is well appointed, clean and having multiple fans throughout the unit keeps it comfortable on hot days. It's walking distance to several beaches and restaurants and even a bit of shopping.

Very nice well updates condo

Everything about this property was excellent. We enjoyed using the very nicely appointed kitchen and living room. We used the sofa bed and it was pretty good. The king sized bed was fantastic.

Nice property

Older unit in great location. Easy walk to beach, pool (no hot tub), good food, and coffee shop (no room coffee provided). The grounds are very nice especially for those who enjoy Hawaiian landscapes. Can noisy as it is near elevator. Good value for this area

Really nice unit

We just spent 5 nights in this unit. Its really well set up and the 6th floor location is great. Really enjoyed sunsets on the lanai as well as watching whales do their thing. The management company was very helpful when a minor issue came that needed to be fixed. We would certainly stay there again!

Very nice place.

Overall it is nice condo with convenient location, close to the beach and places to eat at, clean and cozy, has assigned parking spot. Comparing to other places - check out is early and not negotiable that needs to be considered if leaving island late ( asked to extend for 1.5-2 hr, knowing that nobody is checking in same or next day, and was offered to pay 118.55 for securing property for that time). And it would be nice to have beach umbrella and snorkeling gear that other condos have. (our friends- 4 other families, were staying at the same building and had all of the above).

Great place to stay

We were very happy with this property. Condo was clean and in a very convenient location. Two elevators that we never had to wait for. Two pools, easy parking. My only complaints (and they are small) is that 1) the fitted sheet was too small and kept popping off which was a little annoying but we didn’t choose to ask this to be rectified 2) the kitchen could be a little more stocked (pot holders, foil to name a couple things) if you’re going to be cooking there. I would recommend taking inventory of the kitchen if you plan to cook a lot of meals. We mostly ate out. But all in all, a really good experience and would rent this unit again. Definitely.

Wonderful Unit

This unit worked perfect for us, in our second year coming to Kihei. Easy check-in, clean unit, everything worked as it should, beautiful ocean view. Only a few minor nitpicks/suggestions: 1. The bed mattress was good, however, it leaned on the left side such that you felt like rolling out of bed. 2. Previous stays have had a few condiments left in the kitchen for use... literally nothing upon arrival. Not a huge deal, but it did discourage any eating in. 3. 4 beach chairs were provided. Previous units on multiple islands also provided beach umbrellas and miscellaneous gear such as boogie boards and snorkel masks/fins. Would have been a nice touch. Overall, an excellent unit, well-maintained (see note above regarding the bed) and clean. Would not hesitate to reserve again.

Loved Every Minute

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kihei Akahi C-609. The condo is perfectly located to walk to beaches, restaurants, and shops. So nice to be able to spread out (vs. a hotel room), cook or heat up leftovers in the well stocked kitchen, and enjoy whale sightings and sunsets from the balcony. We liked being on the top floor and the elevators were always very fast. Having a free, assigned parking space was also convenient. We appreciated the beach towels, beach chairs, beach cart, etc. The king size bed and pillows were so comfortable and the mini-splits kept the unit nice and cool when we needed it, but mostly we just enjoyed the fresh air. The condo management was also wonderful - very helpful. We didn’t have a chance to use the tennis/Pickleball court but people were playing every day. Kihei is centrally located and convenient to all the amazing Maui adventures. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again. Thank you!
