"This is a golfer’s paradise. My golfer uncle from US would love this place. I am not a golfer but stayed at the lodges to attend a wedding in nearby Athy. The receptionists were lovely and extremely helpful. I should have taken their names. A special shoutout to the manager (again I didn’t take her name) of Hermione's Restaurant Friday evening 1st May and Saturday’s morning 2nd May for breakfast. She was very friendly, polite and professional. I would definitely recommend this place for a peaceful accommodation and delicious food. If you are a golfer, this will be a dream vacation. "We love this hotel and we stay there at least once a year. The staff are very friendly and the food and accommodation is first rate. We also like the spa and gym. The only thing that did not seem to be happen was the point addition for 'The Club' scheme which staff did not seem to be aware of. One of them told me that the scheme was ending this month although I do not rememeber being notified of this. "

"Service and house standards were exceptional, it was a quiet environment, offered free parking and the attached restaurant offered a great breakfast offer. Did not have lunch or evening meal but would be sure it would be of the same standard. Attached bar and restaurant within house so no external exit required. You would either need family or friends near by, own transport or hire a taxi as although not too far from town, mostly country lanes to get from A to B. Based off a main bye road "
