"Arrived late for one night stay following a wedding so didn’t use any of the amenities or restaurant. Bed was really comfortable, we could control our own heating or air conditioning via a remote which was great as we hate it when these are controlled centrally. Room had tea/coffee tray, hairdryer and spare pillows and there is shampoo, shower gel and hand wash in the bathroom. Bathroom was a little tired, plastic shower head and fittings, and the bath panel and bottom of the door had paint missing which made them look tatty. Comfortable stay and we would stay here again when visiting the area."

"Helpful staff on reception a pleasant hotel only negative is parking in the multi storey next door (it’s a bit of a walk from it to the hotel). Would be better if parking outside the hotel was available"

"Everything I required was in the room, ironing board, hairdryer and a good assortment of teas etc. Very clean and well presented room with comfortable bed. Only improvement I would suggest is having curtains in the bathroom. Presently there is a blind but my room was right on the road, it was very quiet but the orange street light came through the blinds, hence the suggestion of adding curtains. Very nice overall stay. Thank you."

"This is a lovely rustic inn and pub in a historical location. Located on the outskirts of Nottingham and an easy on off of the highway prior to our flight home. We stayed 2 nights after exploring northern England. The beds are clean and comfortable, the food is delicious and the drinks are cold. Lots of local conversation with friendly people"
