"The hotel is a bit old (outdated) and looks like it needs an upgrade for the carpets and beds. However, it's clean and very convenient because as soon as you step out of Rinku Station, the hotel is just a few meters away. Their reception area is on the 1st floor. We stayed on the 46th floor, the elevator is fast, and the view from the top is beautiful. You can truly appreciate the beauty of Kansai even more."

"The room was as expected. The Onsen, however, was surprisingly great, especially after a long flight. The breakfast included was great as well. There is a short 10min walk from the train station that wasn’t clearly marked and google maps wasn’t cooperating, but we got there. There isn’t anybody at reception but there are 2 friendly dinosaurs that my 9 yo loved conversing with. We would stay again because of the inclusion of the Onsen alone. "

"Absolutely wonderful place to stop on the way to Koyasan. I will admit when I showed up at the inn I was later than expected, had walked many miles, and was in quite a bad mood. "The shuttle feature is great from the train station, although you need to plan ahead due to its limited availability. Taxi to the property was inexpensive and affordable from the train station as well. On suite onsen and private bath is a must have feature with a clear view to the river below and the forest. "Really lovely ryokan and onsen with beautiful ocean views. The futons were very comfortable, as well. It's a little outside of Wakayama city (about 30 minutes/¥3500 by taxi), but there is a nearby bus and they have a parking area if you are driving. The staff speaks a little English, but don't expect the same level of English that you might get at a larger, urban hotel. Overall, it was very relaxing and I would definitely recommend it."
