"Absolutely ideal place to stay for a trip to Pitlochry and the beautiful surrounding areas. Only an easy, 3 minute drive to get to the town centre, yet removed enough from the busy little town to be able to unwind in the quiet on an evening. The lodge itself is lovely, super cosy and clean, and the hot tub was one of the nicest I've ever been in. Highly recommended!"

"The lodge was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Lovely views and more than ample space around each lodge so that the barbeques provided can be used safe in the knowledge they will not impact on the comfort of nearest neighbours. Obviously no shops in the immediate vicinity but Pitlochry, Dunkeld and Aberfeldy are all within a short driving distance affording ample shopping opportunities. "What a fabulous find this was. Just a few mins out of town. There was building work going on but wasn’t disturbed by it as out all day. "Honestly, the photos do not do this place justice - it is much bigger and better! Our Hosts, John and Sam were very welcoming and useful guides. The place was clean, tidy and very relaxing, which is a must in these challenging times. Brilliant transport links to St Andrews and Dundee. Car parking is £1 for 24hours at Leuchars train station so this is handy for exploring Edinburgh and Glasgow. The accommodation was worth the money and we were delighted with our welcome pack. "We all had a great stay at Thistle Lodge. Very clean and well presented. The open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area was great for our family trip of 4 adults. A bonus was the outdoor gated patio, felt like a sense of security for our Labrador. Great base for exploring Perthshire. Will definitely return in the near future. "

"I was a little bit skeptical at first: the property is reached by a one lane road, off a small two lane road, off a regional road. Typical Scotland. Yet, once there, it was magnificent. The cottage was adjacent to two cottages and next to small bio domes which seemed interesting to stay also. Our cottage was very spacious, clean, airy, great kitchen and despite its perceived isolation had all possible amenities. Very nice host who welcomed us with a bottle of wine. It was beautiful to wake up...

"Great house in the middle of the fields. You have everything you need. We didn’t use kitchen tools but it seemed to be fool. we used the fireplace as an attraction although it was not so cold these days it was great for an evening together. the bed is uncomfortable with a spring mattress. the sewerage and ventilation in the shower worked poorly. 10/10 for accommodation atmosphere and cleanliness."
