"Wonderful Stay at The Lansdowne Guest House – Warm Hospitality & Perfect Location We stayed at The Lansdowne Guest House in Bourton-on-the-Water from May 15 to May 17, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The staff were absolutely amazing — incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely committed to making sure every guest had a great experience. They went out of their way to offer recommendations for local restaurants, tourist spots, and things to do in the area. It was clear they took pride in their work and truly cared about their guests. Every morning started with a delicious, freshly cooked breakfast made to order, which was a lovely touch. Our room was spotless, and the bathroom was well-stocked with all the necessary amenities. one particularly thoughtful touch was the fresh milk provided in our room every day — a small detail that made a big difference. The location was also perfect — very quiet and peaceful, yet just a short 5-minute walk from the heart of town and the local bus stop, making it easy to explore. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Cotswolds. We would absolutely stay here again!"

"We stayed in the Studio Golf View room and it was beautiful! The staff are friendly and helpful and it is in a great location - it is about 15 minutes from everything we wanted to see. "The hosts of the property were extremely helpful and provided an excellent breakfast each morning. The property was lovely and comfortable with deep mattresses and plush pillows. We were shown how to work the heating, so that we could have the accommodation at a temperature that suited us. Parking was accessible around the property, if a little tight for larger vehicles. The surrounding area is amazing, with many beautiful walks and villages to see. Bourton on the Water has many places to eat or you can visit the superb restaurants in one of the surrounding villages if you prefer a trip out. If we were to visit the area again we would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a lovely anniversary weekend."
