Crowders Mountain State Park has a wealth of great trails which end with great views of North Carolina piedmont. The two main destinations are Crowders Mountain (2.8 mile walk from Sparrow Springs Access) or the Pinnacle or King's Pinnacle. The Pinnacle trail is a pleasant 2 miles trek uphill through rich forest. The last little bit has some rock scrambling with signs that urge carefulness. But the views are stupendous, especially with fall colors in full display. (About 45 minutes west of Charlotte, NC)

"The house is in an area where we were able to travel to Charlotte and Kings Mountain with ease. The neighborhood has a nice atmosphere. The house had just amount of space and amenities we needed. Levar checked on us before, during, and after our stay to make sure everything was to our standards. "

"We had a great stay here...the house is large and well-maintained with a well-stocked kitchen. The owner was very easy to communicate with and accommodated us when we needed to extend our stay. the location was fantastic and was outside the busy downtown areas but those spots were easy to get to from this location. I'd definitely stay here again! "
