"The room was spacious and clean. The porter Ricky was very helpful and friendly. He gave us some great tips on places to viait and eat. The location was great. The only negative ia that it's a 3 story walk up without an elevator. We would stay here again. "

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. Tea selection and biscuits in the room were great. Bed was comfortable. It can be a little noisy with the windows open but generally a quiet area and around the corner from many restaurants and shops."

"Stayed two nights, great for the price. Clean room, except for some stains here and there. One lamp did not work, but its not the end of the world. Ensuite bathroom was good, no issues. Location is good, only about a 15 minute bus from the city. It is simple to call up and get inside to the building, no hassle of interacting with staff. Bedsheets and towels were nice."

"The property was easy to find but when u Google map it use the postal code not the address. Theres 2 places with same address and there 25 minutes apart. breakfast was good rooms were nice ,bus was a few minutes away. Our 1st time at a bed and breakfast and we're quite with our stsy."

"It served our needs. We got a good nights rest and the beds were very comfortable. Wish there was better parking but we made do. Signage was hard to locate as the sign was in green and writing in gold and hard to see. Maybe sign needed to be bigger or backlit too. We will be staying here again in a week so now we will know where it is! "

Full Scottish breakfast with cereals, yoghurts, toast, fruit, tea and coffee in abundance. Clean room with comfy bed has tea/coffee making facilities with biscuits and bottled water complimentary each day. Cannot recommend highly enough... we shall return."

"The hotel boasts the best location for tourists among branded hotels in Royal Mile Edinburgh. We took a three-day hiking trip to Loch Ness and came back at 6pm. The drop-off point at Lawnmarket is just 2 minutes walking from the hotel, so that we still had a lot of time in early evening to revisit the Edinburgh old town center. On the second day, we had to take an early flight back to Seattle, and the airlink stop to the airport was just 10 minutes walking from the hotel. "
