Dean Park Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"We were pleasantly surprised at the little treats and coffee station in our room. And everything was super clean and comfortable!"

Best Western Balgeddie House Hotel

8/10 Good

"Large room with modern ensuite. My companion used the gym. Let down by poor breakfasts. On the first day I tried the vegetarian option, which included lots of tinned button mushrooms, and tattie scones swimming in oil. My companion's full breakfast wasn't freshly cooked and had been kept warming on the plate for some time. On the final day he said that it was fresher but the ingredients weren't very good quality. On the second day I avoided the cooked breakfast and had muesli, but unfortunately it was too sweet for me so I didn't finish it. On the third day I had porridge, which was OK. I stay in a lot of hotels and the quality of the breakfast is important, so I won't stay here again."

Sea View Apartment/ Deas Wharf

10/10 Excellent

"This apartment was so much more than anticipated. The view was spectacular and it’s just a short walk to get your basic necessities. Maya has pretty much everything you could need on hand including a heated drying rack. The tide goes in and out which was interesting to see and we even saw some large freighters multiple times outside the window. Tv was readily available for when you just wanted to relax. Shower pressure was great ! Everything was so clean and welcoming. It’s a short walk to the train but taxis are just 5 minutes away if you’re not in the mood for the walk or you’re carrying luggage. We found a hidden gem approx a 10 minute walk to the most amazing restaurant called Cafe Continental with very friendly staff. Thank you so much for sharing your space with us to enjoy beautiful Scotland."

Funky Studio Near The Beach

10/10 Excellent

"What a lovely little flat. Located within easy walking distance to shops, beach and train station. Free on street parking after 6pm just out side the entrance. We stayed Saturday to Sunday and no restrictions for Sunday parking which was ideal. A well stocked kitchen with plenty of utensils with salt, pepper and other necessities in the cupboards. Fab rainfall shower with some toiletries if you’ve forgotten anything. The only thing we found negative was the mattress which was not very comfortable due to springs and sagging in the centre of the bed and we couldn’t locate an ironing board. Despite these issues it would not deter us from using this quirky wee flat again nor recommending it to anyone else."
