"The setting was great between the old and new Forth road bridges, with the restaurant looking at the new one. Nice big rooms with super king bed and a big bathroom with rain shower. A bus from the airport stops at the end of the old bridge right next to a footpath to the hotel."

"There was an influx of moths and spiders in the room, the window was left open so had to remove a lot. The room was clean but somewhat dated. We used the pool and this was cold and the smaller kids pool was half full so couldn’t be used. The staff were amazing though and very helpful."

"The room was clean but on the small side for a family of four. The sofa bed was only a very small double so our two children aged 8 and 11 were a bit squished. When the bed was folded out, there was minimal room to move around. We also found the walls/windows to be poor for sound insulation, as there was lots of noise from outside that travelled up to our room despite having the window shut. We could also hear snoring from an adjacent room. Overall however it was good value for our two night stay to visit Edinburgh, particularly compared to the extremely high prices in the city. We were barely in the room due to long days out so it was fine just to sleep in. The breakfast was ok, but avoid the scrambled egg, apple juice and bread rolls as these were all really poor quality. Staff were friendly and happy to oblige when we asked for extra pillows for the sofa bed. Towels were changed on day two, which was unexpected for a short stay."
