"I decided to pay cash at the property. Paid in full at check in, as requested. They demanded a £100 cash deposit which they would return at check-out, after the room was inspected. At check out, I produced the receipt they gave me for the deposit, and waited for 15 minutes while they checked the room over. The deposit was repaid, no problem. “Room 384? Here’s your £100” End of story. No “sorry to keep you” or anything like that! I’m a middle aged bloke! My hotel room wrecking days are a very, very long way behind me!! This made me feel mistrusted! Why couldn’t they take a credit card security deposit? Apart from that, the rest of the stay was great and the breakfast was delicious!"

"We got the package deal with breakfast and in room mini bar included.Lavish breakfast bar and alacarte menu was well worth the add on! Rooms were smallish for my taste but that is expected in Europe. This did not disappoint Just a preference. Staff was excellent!"

"The room was very clean and in good condition. The only issues were:- 1.The mattress was quite creaky and perhaps needs replaced. 2. The duvet cover is open at the sides , resulting in the duvet itself touching skin eventually. As it is doubtful that the actual duvet is washed between every occupancy , it is likely the contact of duvet on skin is between many different persons- not pleasant or hygienic"
