Comfortable and private home-feel-type modern apartment with one bedroom and one bath. Ground floor. Private space and separate entry. Perfect for couples. Enjoy the quiet space, gorgeous sunset view, and beautiful landscape, and smell the roses (during the season.) Listen to the birds, and smell the salty air while relaxing or drinking your morning coffee on the back porch. This cozy getaway is nestled among live magnolia, mimosa, and oaks in the heart of the Outer Banks.

Cozy one-bedroom and one-bath apartment on the ground floor. Private entry and the entire place to yourself. Smart TV with Netflix access but no full network.
The kitchenette includes the following: Fridge, microwave, toaster oven, hot plate, and coffee maker.
Plates, cups, glasses, and silverware are included.
Paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap, coffee filters, and sugar.
There are linens for the bed and two sets of bath towels but please bring your own beach towels.

We have one double bike, three regular bikes, a kayak for two people, and a stand-up paddleboard. These are shared among guests from my two other apartments. We don't have direct access to the water. However, we're a two-minute walk to the Albemarle Sound access, and a boardwalk makes it perfect for a sunset stroll. We're about ten minute walk to the ocean.
Pet friendly $35 per animals and per stay. Max 2 dogs please. There is a cat that lives in the common outdoor areas. The owner lives upstairs.

Nice Getaway

We enjoyed a two night stay here, the hot tub is a bonus! Nice firm mattress, cozy kitchenette which allowed us to store, reheat and prepare foods. Our dog enjoyed his stay as well as he had a back yard to explore. Location was ideal for the activities we planned. Overall 10/10!

Better than a hotel Room

The place was exactly as described and very clean. The neighborhood is so nice and close to the sound and a beautiful walking trail. Nice backyard for our dog. Would definitely highly recommend

Loved this place!

We were greeted by the owner and felt very welcomed. Not real fancy but very comfortable and clean. It was close to all the places we visited during 3 day stay. Would highly recommend this to a couple that wants a comfy stay.

Awesome Beach Getaway

The property was very clean. The location is near the beach and all the shops. The host is very sweet and accommodating. Overall, a wonderful weekend getaway to the beach and I highly recommend this place to anyone.

Perfect place to stay but shower had some mold and the outdoor shower wasn’t user friendly. Owner was helpful and, overall, we enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay overall. It was quick and easy to get settled in. Coming and going was no issue, with no issue in regard to parking. It was a great experience and I am sure we will be back!

Get away at the beach

My son and grandkids and in-laws rent a place on the beach side . This place with its gardens and privacy and easy access, beautiful location and beautiful place will come back just because of this and I’m not even a fan of the beach. But love the neighborhood on the Bayside absolutely nice

Was skeptical at first to book on a holiday weekend but was amazed at how quiet, safe, and friendly the neighborhood is. Truly a cozy place to land for a beach trip. Everything you could need if you’re a beach bum like me. Access to sound was incredible. Would stay again!

Beautiful location

The house is located in a beautiful residential neighborhood. We walked for miles around the neighborhood and viewing the sound and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Meet the homeowner who was very friendly and sociable. Was a great place to stay when wanting to explore and be tourists!

Cozy location

We spent two nights here. It was off the main road and had amazing access to the sound on the west side of the OBX, which made for some great sunsets! Aside from sleeping we didn't necessarily spend a lot of time in the apartment, but it worked out great for my wife and I. One perk, free coffee at the Outer Bean for guests :) The price was right and the location was just fine.

Great stay in the Outer Banks

Stayed for 3 nights, the apartment is in a good location near the main road but far enough off that you don't get all the road noise. The place is super cute and perfect for a solo traveler or couple. The bed is really comfy and the bathroom has a spacious walk in shower. It was also super clean, no complaints at all. Very happy with my choice to stay here for my long weekend in the Outer Banks! Thanks Necla.

Nice place

The property manager didn’t have the place cleaned when we got there at 6, when checking was 3. She had the wrong date of checkin but cleaned the place and we were able to checking after we went to the grocery. Very nice place to stay!

Kitty Hawk by the Bay

We loved our stay at the Mars apartment. Our host was so gracious when we had a change of plans and we were so glad we were able to find a few days that worked for us. The apartment was very comfortable and perfect for a couple. We spent our days exploring the area and enjoying the beaches and nearby restaurants. You have to try Trio for a drink and/or dinner. And, don't miss the sunsets!!
