Mid Level: Queen Master Bedroom with a TV and deck access, Queen Bedroom plus a Single Trundle, Bedroom with a Full Bed and Bunk Set, full hallway bathroom and the laundry area with washer and dryer.

Top Level: Great room with a TV/VCR/DVD and deck access, kitchen with breakfast bar seating 2, dining area seating 8 and a King Master Bedroom with TV.

Extras: Private Pool (14 x 20), Hot Tub, 3 TVs, VCR, DVD Player, high-speed wireless internet, picnic table, foot wash, beach chairs, outside shower, washer/dryer, parking for 4 cars, charcoal grill and linens and towels provided. No Smoking. No Pets. Full week rentals only. Distance to beach access: 590'. Beds: King, 2 Queens, 1 Full, Bunk Set, Trundle. House Address: 3700 Hallett Street, Kitty Hawk. Linens and towels provided at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep sofas, top bunks and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

The house/decor is a little dated but has all of the amenities you'll need and only a 2 minute walk to the beach.

The house was great. Although it was not clean when we arrived. I spent the first couple hours cleaning and vacuuming the house. There were toenails in all the bedrooms on the floor, the bathroom rugs were very dirty and had dirt and sand everywhere. The showers had hair in them and shaving cream on the wall of the master shower. Besides the house being dirty we did enjoy the pool and location. The pool chairs were all broken so we weren’t able to use them.

Appropriately priced & a short walk to the beach

Comfortable and CLEAN home. Great view. Don’t let the musty smell like upon entry deter you – the basement stairwell has no air circulation and it’s right next to the pool. Surprise, there’s w2w carpeting, and it definitely holds all the stink. :( Like all beach rental properties in the Outer Banks, the yellow house needs some small updates & TLC. This house did have a few fresh updates: new and plush mattresses in masters, new smart TVs upstairs, and perfectly cool AC. Needs new patio furniture all around, a pool heater or solar cover, and new kitchen utensils, pots, pans. The non-stick was peeling. One stainless pan in the lot…. oh well. If it’s a bargain your after, this rental is it.

Relaxing Break

We knew it would be too cold for the pool or the ocean. Enjoyed the hot tub. Walked on the beach, location was superb. Were able to sit on the beach two days, chairs were a definite plus. Everything we needed was there.
