This is the nicest hotel I think we've ever stayed in, and we travel a bit. I don't think I've ever stayed anywhere, regardless of price or rating, where there wasn't some small thing a bit off -- even five-star hotel rooms have some gross dusty corner, if you look hard enough. Breakfast is at the store next door, but it’s good! Room was clean. Nothing to complain about, it was a standard business hotel in Japan, small, but great for a night or few.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. We left our phone at the reception when we checked out. We didn’t know until the receptionist run after us and brought our phone. It had been more than 5 min after we left the hotel. She must have been looking for us quite a while in 95 Celsius hot weather. Room was on the smaller side, but had everything needed! Very easy to ask for extra amenities, or if you need to do luggage forwarding. Laundry is separate coin washer and dryer that worked well and we're not overly expensive. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. They go the extra mile to communicate if you do not speak Japanese by utilizing Google translate, though they do have some English-speaking staff. Room was clean and set up well. Rather small by western standards but very functional. Easy check in and great location close to the train. Had the breakfast which was well prepared but limited main dish options. Buffet options were excellent.
