"Older property close to Nagoya Railway Station. Convenience stores & restaurants nearby. Front desk friendly & professional. Hotel lets itself down by poor cleaning & maintenance standards. Old carpet needs a deep clean not just a quick vacuum with a stick vacuum cleaner. Bathroom floor had lots of hair from previous guest & needs a scrub. Bigger issue is the poorly maintained air conditioning system, the filter had not been cleaned for a long long time & was completely blocked. Previous online reviews had mentioned air conditioning & hotel replied about 1 month ago that they’d check the air conditioning system, it is obvious they did not. This is also a hotel that the windows don’t open. While convenient, even with the terrific front desk staff I can’t recommend this hotel due to its poor maintenance & cleanliness."
