Ko Olina | Beach & Pool Access | Tropical Resort Stay

"The property is very nice; pools are relaxing and it was not very busy when we visited (October). The lagoon is nice for kids as there are barely any waves but not so fun if you like aforementioned waves. The reservation system for cabanas and other activities is nice because you can text the concierge. Everything was clean. Self-parking was included and convenient. The host was great: quick responses and provided all the information needed. The rest of the review is just about the room and obviously since it's a hotel/timeshare, it's not something the host can control but others might want to know. The basic rooms are clean but quite small and pretty dated. However, it's pretty inexpensive so if you're looking for just a place to sleep, then this is great value. Just fyi: minimal outlets at the bedsides, carpets and sofa feel old, and with the sofa bed extended, the room becomes mostly beds (i.e. nowhere to sit except on the bed). The balconies are so small that I'm not sure it is an amenity. Nice that a fridge and microwave and coffee machine are available. Overall a good stay for the money!"

"The lovely view of the grounds and ocean made us feel like we were in Hawaii even when relaxing on the deck or cooking in the kitchen. Loved watching the feeding of the fish in the gardens, the quiet pool and the lagoon pool. The six of us had plenty of room and it was nice having a variety of beach equipment and a variety of spices in the kitchen."
