This is one of those hotels where everything just works really well, all very practical, great value for money. Perfect location. Housekeeping, staff, location, breakfast, beach bar/restaurant, quiet beachside bungalows, all individually very good, but combining in a way to make the whole greater than the sum of the individual parts.

Great resort hotel. Located on the beach in the heart of Lamai. Restaurant staff were excellent. Hotel staff were helpful and accommodating. Cleaning staff didn’t miss a spot. The resort is perfect for any age group. Very quiet area. I stayed in the hotel part of the resort and the views of the ocean and the sounds were really nice. You won’t be disappointed if you book with this resort. When I go back to Samui I’ll be staying at coconut beach resort. Only negative was there was no smart tv. No huge deal because your days a filled in that area.

I have been a guest at the Coconut Beach Resort in Lamai many times, over the last several years. They are consistently good. The staff are friendly, and the hotel is managed by Mr. Moo who always makes his guests feel welcome. The location on the beach is perfect and near everything that Lamai has to offer.

When we arrived, we found out that one side of the bed was broken. We spent one night on a broken bed. They fixed the bed the next day. The shower had missing grout, so the water poured into the bathroom area. We let the housekeeper know and they put a towel down…… There were no electrical outlets in the room, so we had to ask for a power bar to get more outlets. Only 2 pillows and a hard bed. The fire show and the meal on the beach was the best part.

We loved this place. Right on the beach, quiet but still close to shops and restuarants. We extended our stay by 4 nights. Very relaxing. We stayed in the little bungalow room, you have your own balcony and garden view. They are older but clean, spacious, good value and the garden is lovely. The only downside was that they have 2 large jetski businesses on either side, so its kind of on an industrial scale, about 20 skis, can be intrusive to your quiet beach time as they reel them in and out, maintain them onsite and the operators seem to spend a lot of time "testing" them at full speed. Usually while guests have breakfast. Other than that it is great value, fantastic location. Would book again.

This was our third trip to this lovely hotel right on the beach at Lamai. It’s excellent value for money, breakfast is much improved since our last visit , the rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff remain the best we have come across on our travels. We will be back!

Staff were nice and helpful, the room was old, mouldy and very dirty - we had to clean ourselves on the first day wasn't gonna touch anything. We had to wipe surfaces, and disinfect the bathroom, lot's of hair on the floor. We stayed 4 nights. The room was spacius but uncomfortable, the bed was ok. Luckily the beach was nice, with sunbeds, water was great for swim in the waves, beach restaurant was pleasant enough.

We loved this resort. The staff were incredible, the rooms lovely, food and service amazing and the beach area was perfect. Location excellent and 1min to main drag where all the bars and restaurants are, and 30sec to incredible beach. Cant beat it! Pool area good too!
