"This is a special place in a beautiful setting. While we used it as a base to explore the area, we made also made sure to relax in our beautiful courtyard and on premises. Our highlight was a cooking course with the two chefs, who were delightful and taught us a lot about Cretan cooking. The restaurant consistently produced high quality offerings for breakfast and dinner. We loved our stay here!"

"This villa exceeded our expectations in every level. The location was quiet and serene with sweeping views of the wild Cretan mountains, gorge and sea. The home was spacious, in excellent working order in all regards and had the most comfortable beds Coco Mat. The owners Nick and Vasiliki are great led us with a full course dinner, wine, olive oil and fruit which was completely unexpected but very much appreciated. They are excellent people who understand Filoxenia, a Greek term referring to hospitality. I highly recommend this property for your next stay Rethymno. A car rental is a must, fyi. "

"Ignored and Disappointed: Poor Communication by Hotel Management When we extended our stay, the hotel staff failed to inform us about a special 50% May discount. Although the manager later compensated us nicely, our experience with the hotel’s loyalty program has been extremely disappointing. Since our stay, we've made multiple attempts to register for the hotel’s loyalty membership. Despite discussing this directly with reception upon checkout (we were promised a follow-up that never came) and sending three subsequent emails, we've received no response whatsoever. It feels as though the hotel is deliberately avoiding our registration to prevent us from receiving the 10% discount on our next visit, especially concerning given their initial oversight regarding the 50% discount. We remain puzzled by this complete lack of communication from hotel management."
