"The staff were so polite and helpful wanting your stay to be the best. The hotel is set back from the busy-ness of Ubud but close enough to still get around. Only challenge is the traffic but think that’ll apply to any hotel in Ubud. There are lots of nice restaurants right near the hotel also. Luxurious hotel, beautiful scenery. Lots of veggie options, lovely daily yoga."

"Beautiful and quiet hotel, all staff members were exceptional. I really enjoyed my stay.
Rooms were very clean, Beautiful grounds and close to many shops and restaurants. "

"We were very happy with our room, which was large, beautifully designed and with a balcony overlooking the pool and a view of greenery - set well back from the road at the front of the hotel, the room was very quiet.
Breakfast was a very welcome surprise, because when we told the servers we were vegan, we were presented with a vegan menu with five great options, including three local dishes. My one recommendation to the hotel would be to include the vegan menu with their general breakfast menu, as we got some jealous looks from other guests.
Staff were lovely throughout and the receptionists were so welcoming!"
"Was in a great spot. Unfortunately they dont tell you that you have to walk 150m to front door, which is fine, except i had heavy art to carry. the place was also a construction site. And a mini village, with screaming kids.
The place was filthy, the bathroom stank like an open sewer and nearly made me gag. They cleaned it once, but the pong was back with vengeance.
No daily cleaning of the room. It was as if the owner didnt care about his business, but instead gloated over his Harley Davidson, and flash hot dirt bike, Never again."
"We loved this hotel and the staff were absolutely excellent! Everyone was friendly and so welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and we thought the location was convenient too, with lots of restaurants about to choose from. The spa treatments are very good in the hotel! All in all, we would definitely come back here (we would also recommend doing the Ubud walk on Sunday that the hotel offers - it was a pleasure spending time with Ratna and walking somewhere we would probably not have seen otherwise). "
"We loved Alaya resort so much that we extended our stay longer than expected! It’s a great location in the heart of Ubud, walking distance of shops and restaurants. The resort is beautiful and the pool is tucked away in the back, allowing more privacy from the busy streets. The staff was incredible and went above and beyond. Highly recommend staying here! "
