"Pleasantly surprised. Had never stayed in a Mount Fuji hut before. I had imagined just an old hut with a bunch of mats on the floor, side by side with others, but this was much bigger and more maintained than I expected. Rows of 2 level sleeping quarters. We had 3 of us, so had 3 in a space with a wall on each side and small divider between each of us 3. We slep on the top, above a lower level of similar sleeping cubbies. There were outlets to charge our phones. The staff was very helpful and organized. The toilet is outside (as we had expected for a mountain hut). The location (start of the 8th station huts) worked well for us. Getting up early to climb worked out well since it was early September and the weather turned rainy in the late morning/afternoons. It was a great experience. Very glad that we did it."

"Amazing stay. Comfortable beds. Shower had great water pressure. Bathroom was great. Did not try the restaurant. But the staff is amazing. Helped me get bus routes and restaurant recommendations. And was very accommodating. Highly highly recommend."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful lakeside hotel in Japan. Waking up to a breathtaking view of Mount Fuji and the lake was something we’ll never forget. The room was spacious, comfortable, and easily accommodated our family of four. One of our favorite parts of the stay was relaxing in the sauna and hot tub after a day of exploring and hiking to the top of Mt. Fuji . It was the perfect way to unwind while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. The self-check-in process on the iPad was quick, simple, and made everything incredibly easy. If you’re looking for a quiet, authentic Japanese getaway with incredible scenery and excellent amenities, I can’t recommend this hotel enough. The combination of the lake, the stunning Mount Fuji views, and the relaxing spa facilities made this one of the highlights of our trip. We would gladly stay here again!"
