However good signage would help as we just come off a huge roundabout and there are so many structures blocking the view of the hotel from the road that one is not sure where to enter to reach the hotel. "Located right outside Konstanz train station, it was easy to reach on arrival and depart after exploring Konstanz. Hosts were very nice. Were upgraded to a room with Mountain View and the sea. "We stayed 4 nights at the Hotel Isartor. The hotel is centrally located and easily walkable to transit (less than 5 minutes) and the Marienplatz (about 10 minutes). The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room had a great view of the river and consequently also received sun all day long so it was a bit warm, despite having a few windows. However, when we mentioned this to the front desk staff, they arranged to have a portable air conditioner to our room within an hour (without us asking). The room was well kept and spacious (we had a family room with 3 adults staying). They have parking arrangements with the garage next door. If you are renting a vehicle and need parking, our recommendation would be to go with a smaller vehicle as the parking spaces and access are tight. We have no hesitation in recommending the Hotel Isartor for your stay in Munich."
