"I loved the refillable water, especially the tap for sparkling water The breakfast is a bit overpriced for what it is but the staff kindly let me get some milk for my toddler and an Uber Eats delivery of a Subway meal cost less The room is lovely, neutral view with a little bit of the train station visible which the toddler loved Wifi is great, fast and available Shower was also great The receptionists are lovely too, with just 1 exception"

"Smartments Berlin Karlshorst is for those who travel on a budget. I travel a lot and prefer to stay in apartment hotels. I think this hotel is one of the best in this category. A minute walk to the public transport, 10-15 minutes ride to the city center. The hotel is clean, the staff is very helpful ( special thanks to Ms.Pilar), rooms are cozy and if you need extra supplies, there is a room for that on every floor. "Dear Expedia Customer Support, I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my recent Valentine’s trip to Berlin, which was booked through Expedia. My partner and I arrived at the hotel at approximately 1:30am after travelling, only to be informed that the Senior Suite I had paid for was no longer available. Without any clear explanation, we were told the room had effectively been downgraded. The receptionist was unable to provide a reason as to why the room I had booked and paid for had been given to another guest, nor could they explain how this situation had occurred. After being shown an alternative room, we were left with no real choice but to accept a standard room with a standard bed — significantly below the level of accommodation I had reserved and paid for. I requested either the correct room or a refund of the price difference, but this was refused. I find it completely unacceptable that a confirmed and fully paid booking was not honoured. The issues continued throughout the stay. During our three-night visit: No housekeeping attended our room. Bed sheets were not changed. The room was not cleaned at any point. On the second night, after returning late in the evening, we found the room untouched. The following day, we had to go down to reception and request fresh bed sheets and pillowcases ourselves. We were instructed to collect them from reception rather than having them delivered to the room, and I was forced to make the bed personally. While I "

But Im giving 4 stars because when we asked for another duvet they didnt have one and also ventilation was full of dust and under the bed was so much dust that you could chocke."
