"Great location and resort, especially if you have kids, but a bit run down. Main thing they need to work on it consistently of drinks across all bars and restaurants as you could order the same drink 5 times and get different drinks. Not an issue if you in an all inclusive drinks package but if you’re paying it’s annoying and only get value for money on every second drink. Food quality is decent but"

Bedarra Beach Inn

"We stayed at the Bedarra Beach Inn on a 4 day layover between our flight to Australia to relax and get over jet lag. The staff was friendly, Good happy hour and decent restaurant. We did also very much enjoy eating at the Crab Shack and the Beach Bar & Grill just down the road. We had massages at the Spa which were good. The pool was decent but the snorkelling and kayaking were only allowed at high tide which was early in the morning so we did not get to do this. Not sure if this is normal or just due to the high winds during our stay but could be a consideration if you were looking forward to snorkelling and kayaking. Overall we had a great stay just had some windy colder than normal weather."

"Fantastic facility in amazing location. Staff terrific and efficient with accommodation clean and unique outdoor bathroom/shower. Went on Farm tour organized at hotel which was most interesting and informative which I highly recommend to everybody and very inexpensive."

OUTRIGGER Fiji Beach Resort

"The pool closes early. All activities were suspended due to winds. Adult pool only until 5 as they have a lot of weddings. We kept having to call for our drink at night. Very unhappy they told us the shuttle to town was working and when we got there is was not and cost 70.00 fiji money for round trip. Breakfast is good wish they had more drink options like mimiosa. Happy hour is fun but limited menu. Liked they had pool service. The room with the 2 beds they are more like a double then queen we switched rooms. Balcony was fabulous the hut houses were cool but you could only see the gardens from most of them. they have nice stores to shop for what you need. Need to post the ice cream hours at the place by the elevators. Several times we went and they were closed. Overall l would stay there again."

"We loved the atmosphere of this resort. It is a quiet relaxed space, more peaceful than that of an all inclusive. The staff make you feel like family; remember your name, your room number and create a feeling of inclusivity and family atmosphere. There is tons to do, kayaking, snorkeling, swimming, volleyball etc right at the resort. The food was spectacular, everything we ate was amazing. The room was clean and water replaced every day even if we didn't need the room cleaned we were asked if we needed anything. It was such a lovely place."
Crusoe's Retreat

"Friendly staff and always willing to help. Room service is limited to maid service only and not for food orders. We particularly loved this retreat because it is true to its nature. No Wi-Fi access in the room, no TV or any landlines. Rooms could use a better gap protection at front doors and windows to keep bugs and small lizards outside the rooms. Retreat offers a variety of daily activities for kids and adults but be cautious when you venture out on the beach because the beach sand is littered with broken glass specially on the village beach that is located right next to the retreat."
