"The apartment was perfect for a family of three, with a large master bedroom and a small room for a child. The hotel staff was helpful and gave a lot of tips, although maybe too many! Our only real issue was that the internet wasn't working in our room, and because it was a weekend they couldn't seem to fix it. Luckily we didn't really need it much while we were there."

"Perfectly located for your visit to Ljubljana. Excellent service, comfortable rooms with all of the amenities, customer service at the highest levels. There is a plaque walking in the entrance that states that it is a 4 star hotel. Obviously a mistake, the Occidental is a 5 star hotel. "

"Very well located, just a few mins walk from the river/old town. Plenty of staff available, and customer service was excellent. They were very acommodating and let me store my bike in the secure locker in the car park, including storing my bike box whilst I was on the road for a few days. Breakfast buffet was great, plentiful and lots of choice. Only downside was that rooms don't have a/c that guests can control. Instead, it's centrally controlled, meaning that my room was only just about comfortable with leaving the window open during the day. It was borderline too hot in my room - they really do need to invest in a modern HVAC system. Other than this issue I'd give it 5/5."

"We really enjoyed our 3-night stay at Hotel Ljubljana Park. The reception staff were very helpful. Breakfast was great; good choice of breakfast foods. 😀 Our room was basic but very clean and modern; very comfortable. 😀 Loved the bee hives and outdoor seating at the top of the hotel. 😀 The hotel was just a short walk away from the castle and other attractions. 😀 Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend this hotel.😀"

"Overall we enjoyed our stay. Staff were friendly and helpful and always on hand. The bed was comfortable & well presented. Whilst the breakfast was tasty, due to how it is served could take some take to order and wait for it to be cooked. Something to factor in if you short on time in the morning. The towels in the room are also rather small and thin so they don’t feel very premium but maybe that’s me being picky. The big one really is other guests allowing their room doors to slam at all hours which made our room shake and disturbed us. Maybe soft closing door hinges could help. Also the ongoing building work next door is nowhere near completion so good luck sleeping in any time after 7am due to the noise. A shame about this but I appreciate it’s something outside of the hotel’s control but if we had know this before booking then I would not have booked to stay here."

"Excellent location right on the river in the old town next to bars and restaurants. Room was clean and tidy with a modern bathroom however there was a smell that came from the water, the room was also way too warm so had the windows open a lot. Breakfast was outstanding, I had the avocado and egg on toast and it was delicious. Also really appreciate the late check out time. "

"Ideal location - just a short walk to cafes, restaurants and the downtown riverwalk. The lobby was clean and contemporary and the rooms were clean and large but a little dated. All in all a great experience. "
