"A disappointing stay overall. The $30 early check-in fee (for any arrival before 2pm) is very strictly enforced, even when rooms are clearly ready hours earlier. I’ve not experienced this level of rigidity at other hotels, and after a 36-hour journey it felt lacking in compassion. The airport pickup was also frustrating — I waited around 50 minutes as the shuttle only runs on the hour, which wasn’t made particularly clear in advance. Unfortunately, the room itself was extremely noisy. I could hear the neighbouring guest snoring, showering, and opening/closing doors, along with frequent noise from outside — car beeps, doors slamming — from as early as 3am. As a result, I got very little sleep. The hotel is also located right next to a busy main road, which adds to the noise. On a positive note, there is a delicious Thai restaurant opposite, and both the Welsh lady at check-in and the shuttle driver were genuinely lovely and welcoming. However, due to the overall experience, I cancelled my repeat booking for later this year."

"It was not very clear but you have to check in at the convent store next to the appartments and there was so much works going on at the building it changed the way you could enter and exit most days I was also not informed about that prior to staying! The rooms were okay and clean enough, very outdated and the drains stunk! One lift was broken the entire time so sometimes we were waiting 5-7 mins for the lift (not ideal with a baby) Also to get into the hotel from the car park was stairs so also not ideal with a baby! Good location only a 20min walk to the museum 5mins to the mint "

"overall the stay was pretty average. The hotel requires a lot of reinvestment. Staff were friendly facilities were okay not up to what you were expect in 2026 for the cost paid."

"Staff were very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay. Only issues we encountered were low water pressure on the day we were leaving, (only affected the higher floors) but the staff offered us another room to shower etc, so quickly resolved. One issue unresolved were the automatic blinds and curtains- problem raised with reception who sent a maintenance guy out the same day. he carried out a quick check then said he’d reset the cct breaker and that was the last we saw of him (issue still remained but easy enough to manually open/close these during our visit. Bar staff were very attentive and provided great service. Would recommend if you are looking for a hotel centrally located with amazing pool and spa facilities. "
