"Very quiet neighborhood North of Hilo. You have to drive to get to anything, but this is a nice house that is decorated well and has everything you need. Very comfortable even without AC. It does get buggy, which is normal for the area. I also liked being in a house, but not feeling like I was staying IN someone’s home."

Have to say we really enjoyed our time in Hilo and up the north coast - simply beautiful. The Cozy Retreat Guest House was a good home base for our site seeing trips and offered a comfortable place to wind down and relax at the end of the day. Location wise, we were further from downtown Hilo then we'd like, so...
