MAGNIFICENT CHALET Les Laouchets - 4 double bedrooms - 3 bathrooms

"Beautiful setting, comfortable and spacious. Michèle is friendly communicative and helpful. Our French is not great but we managed to make it work together. There is no WiFi which made some communication and planning harder, but was not really a problem. We had a great time and would return."

"Great position, and the bedrooms were fine. Lovely to sit out on the little balcony in the evenings.The bathroom showers were excellent, and there was enough storage round the washbasin.Downsides: while we were there, there was a building site in front, which meant no meadow to sit in and considerable noise during our second week (early September).The other frustration was the size of the kitchen work area. The kitchen/diner was a good size for eating, but tiny for cooking. The preparation area was only about 40cm between the draining board and the hob. So you end up using the dining table as well - messy. The kitchen was actually well-equipped - both in terms of fridge capacity and in terms of utensils etc. But it was frustrating cooking."

"A great family find. We stayed as a family of five with kids ranging from 0 to 17. The apparment is clean, well-styled and well-equipped. We loved it was on the ground floor with the deck outside with a direct view of the mountains, which made for excellent backdrops to meals, games and evening reading. The kids loved the pool onsite and made lots of use of it. We also loved the quick walk into town to the really good local bakery and other amenties. And the positioning in the Alps is amazing, with high alps and great walks (and cycling) on your doorstep and the very high alps, Geneva and Annecy easy daytrips. Yes, the appartment is compact, but you won't get a larger appartment anywhere in the alps with the same amenties and enjoyment included and on your doorstep, which makes it really good value. We'd strongly recommend it!"

"Excellent apartment and incredibly well situated. We had an amazing stay. Check in instructions didn’t appear on the app for some reason so we had to make some phone calls and wait around a short while, but nothing to complain about. Check out was as simple as just leaving when we were ready. Communication was great and the one small issue we had was resolved immediately. Fantastic, loved it. Will go back again."

"We enjoyed such a fabulous stay at this place. So conveniently located a 10 minute walk from the ski lifts and 5 minutes to the main town square. Well equipped room, comfortable bed, and every room has doors leading to a patio or balcony. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. The spa facilities were a wonderful touch. The only minor change would be the cleanliness of our room - the floor was rather dirty so had to ensure we wore slippers or sliders so we didn’t get mucky feet. Otherwise, I would definitely stay here again and again."
