Hubby and I rented the presidential suite for a quiet evening away from the kids, and we left feeling SO refreshed. But, now we’re booking our return WITH the kids in the Paul Bunyan cabin which they will absolutely love! I can’t recommend this retreat enough. The family history of the property is so fascinating, and early May was a perfect time of the year to enjoy some Spring...

"The pool area was nice with the adjoining indoor outdoor pools. The breakfast bar was good as was the food at the lumberjack saloon. The bathroom in our room was leaking and we notified staff shortly after we checked in. We never heard from staff and at check out were asked if the new room was better. We were moved to another room in the system but no one ever told us. "
