"We booked to stay a week here in June 2015, as a couple with 5-month baby. (Yep, it does sleep 10!) "Nous avons constaté à notre arrivée que le gßte se situe immédiatement sous une ligne à haute tension dont le crépitement incessant souligne la présence.Une des familles que j avais invitée, femme enceinte et trÚs jeune enfant, a quitté le lieu. En effet l'ANSES recommande de ne pas exposer femmes enceintes et enfants à de telles ondes eu égard aux risques de développer une leucémie. Cette nuisance n était nulle part signalée dans l annonce.Cela se rajoute à la l eau non potable jamais...

"We had a great time. The location is really beautiful situated on a hill near a stream and forest with lots of hiking trails. Shops are nevertheless closeby. The house has plenty rooms and beds that sleep well. Good contact with the owner. Recommended!"

"We had a lovely experience. The house was very clean, the kitchen well equipped and we had plenty of space for 3 couples, kids and a dog. The fenced in yard is nice as well as the view of the surrounding mountains and the sound of a nearby stream. Loads of hiking nearby as well. Communication was excellent. We would definitely like to stay again!! Merci beaucoup!"

"This is a "conditional" five, so as not to deceive you. Keep in mind that you are in a medieval Alsace town. Buildings were smaller then. Rooms were smaller. If you are looking for a huge American hotel room, those don't exist unless you go way outside of the town - and what fun is that? The room was small. Parking was a 1 block walk, but was only $5 (approx)/day. However: the room, while small, was very clean. AC worked great. Power was adequate, if just (a few more bedside outlets would have been nice). Shower was great. Location is superb: step out and absorb a gorgeous medieval town, Kaysersberg, complete with shopping and dining a-plenty. (Lion D'Or is highly recommended). All within walking distance. Easy walking distance. I wouldn't want to put three people in a room, but for two it was fine. Quite romantic. Breakfast was good. Not the best, and the room is a bit cramped, but the quality was high and the staff friendly. Recommended for US Vacationers."
