"We received an extremely warm welcome from Jean-Louis and Nicole to begin a memorable week in the foothills of the Alps. The studio is a 5 minute walk to Saint Vallier where there are bars, restaurants and a weekly market. It is also within walking distance of an Intermarché (with a petrol station) which we found very convenient. "Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame gastheer, enorm fijne ontvangst, losse sfeer. De accomodatie zelf is verouderd en kleine werkzaamheden zijn nodig (bv. losse terrastegels). Goede ligging om uitstappen te maken naar de kust, het Lac de Saint Cassien, Nice of Cannes. Groot zwembad in een mooie tuin!"

"Lovely location but the property needs a bit of tlc. We were lucky there were no other guests for our first three nights as when they did arrive we had to leave the relaxing veranda because they polluted our atmosphere with their smoking. Also the wifi does not work - not a problem for us as we have plenty of mobile data for our limited needs. All the same we hope to come back - our host, Tony, was very affable."

"The location is fantastic, as are the amenities within the grounds. We took our 10 month son with us and it was just perfect! Behnam was nothing more than the most perfect host. We stayed in Lavender which was perfect. Upon arrival it was kitted out with a cot and high chair. The pool is just fantastic and great to have to cool you down as you lay on the well maintained sun loungers. This place needs 6 stars! Best Giles, Rose and Otto"

"Warning at the end! This was a lovely hotel in the heart of a charming town. The front desk person was an angel and the manager was great. Our room was spacious, compared to others we stayed in during this trip. Bed was comfortable. Air conditioning worked fine. Very nice breakfast. The hotel only had 10 parking spaces and they were all occupied. Fortunately I was able to park on the street across from the hotel because it was a Saturday night and the parking ban there was not enforced that late or in the morning. Moral of the story: Get there as early as possible so you can grab a space. However, the garage is tight so try on-street parking if your vehicle is big."

"Absolutely fantastic hotel. Staff are all excellent. Very very helpful and friendly. Great location. Stunning views. Fabulous facilities - pool, games room, books, information, grounds. Breakfast is simple but excellent. Everything you would need. Would not hesitate to recommend a stay here. Great small family run hotel. "
