"Brilliant base from which to explore the forested North of Tenerife, just a short hop from picturesque Puerto de la Cruz and loads of good walks nearby. Good access to the main road by car, after the long switchback, but it was too much/long for a stroll to nearby La Matanza de Acentejo in the heat. Hosts Peter and Martina were friendly, but discreet and I couldn't speak more highly of their helpfulness. We had a fab one week stay."

"We had a lovely stay in Suerteluna. The owner is very friendly and takes good care of her guests. We were provided with fruit from the trees on the property. The fridge was also well stocked with various drinks. The location is somewhat lonely and remote. A hire car is highly recommended. But you have a great view over the vineyard to the Teide and the sea. One star is deducted for the kitchen, which needs renovation and better equipment."
