There is one small, delicious restaurant 400 meters away, but not walkable. LaFortuna is approximately an hour drive, must have a car if staying here. "This is such a hidden gem! It was a bit trickier to find with my shuttle bus but Gabriela was outstanding communicating to provide me with directions and reference points ahead. When I walked in, I was in awe. It was the perfect tiny home with luxury of daily necessities. "The views were spectacular. La Ventanita restaurant next door was tasty for lunch & dinner and super convenient - same owners as Studio WOW. This made it easy to pick up keys when we arrived. "We had a great time at this property. I really like that there was a pool. And the property is very well kept with a functional kitchen and a nice big refrigerator. "Hotel was in a great location. The staff was so warm, welcoming and friendly. We never needed a thing. I loved all the hot spring pools and jacuzzis. This is a safe , beautiful hotel. The only improvement that I could even think of would be the lighting in the room. It was very dim and very hard to apply makeup in the bathroom. Maybe a lighted mirror would help. "
