Beautiful location and town. Development is inconsistent and I hope the full community is involved in the planning of how the natural resources can and will be developed. We enjoyed the beaches, the town and the desert.

Sailed the area for a year in the mid-90s, malecon pretty much unchanged and seafront still very nice. La Paz has really grown, but still a very nice city, especially compared to over-touristed Cabo san Lucas.

La Paz is beautiful and worth seeing. I think about a good amount of time would be 4/5 days. My husband and I travel at lot and we had done many of the activities before, so it was not too new to us. Unfortunately, no swimming with the whale sharks.
