Because it is attached to a property, it is less expensive than the main house. 20 minute walk to the train, but needed a taxi with luggage because it is up at very big hill. The woman who manages the house, lovely and accommodating. Remember to bring a bottle of wine and a snack to sit out on the deck at night and enjoy. "

"The property was very clean and very well kept. Everything was modern and functioned like it should. The view was very nice, overlooking the harbor of La Spezia. At night it was beautiful with town lit up and the mountains in the background. I only stayed for 2 nights but it was nice and quiet for those nights. It's a little far from town, so there's not much traffic and no nightlife to keep you up. Getting into town does require a car or relying on a taxi, which can be expensive in La Spezia....

Host has several rooms on the main floor of an apartment building. The rooms are segmented from the rest of the building so you will have no interaction with any of those tenants. Room was spotless with adequate space to move around. A/C worked well and room has a mini fridge stocked with a couple of bottles...
