Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Can use a mini fridge for the rooms.

Everything was great. But the coffee for the morning breakfast buffet need improvement.

Excellent resort with a very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are clean and have good air conditioning. The beach access is highly convenient, and or children loved the safe and friendly confines of the resort. Can't say enough about the great staff and excellent chef!! My mother is a native of Bauang and Ilocano and he was always willing and able to make Ilocano specialties (and American food for my children) that exceeded what was being served elsewhere. San Juan, La Union, is a special, up and coming resort area in the Philippines. Much more developed than Zambales, but much less developed than Boracay. Costa Villa is a nice place, but it's a longish walk from the "main beach area" of San Juan--this would be a bonus for some, but a negative for others. Hotel is run by a very nice family and the hotel grounds are clean (even the beach is, sadly, quite littered).
