"We had a great time here. The property is fascinating and our hosts, John and Kirk, were there if we needed them and invisible when we didn't. They were both charming and made our stay the best. "This was an extremely nice Hotel. I wish that we had booked here originally for both nights of our stay. The staff was very efficient, friendly and courteous. Our room was very clean and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable and being able to grab a quick continental breakfast before we had to head out was outstanding. I would definitely stay here again if the need arise. "

"Friendly staff, spacious room, and close proximity to my business conference. However, my bathroom smelled like mildew and the shower wand didn’t work. The hotel is a bit on the older side than I’m used to, but in a small town like Gilford, it matches the aesthetic. I’ve heard other options aren’t as great, so I will likely end up staying again next year. The staff are very attentive to your needs, though, and I had no other issues with my stay. I would have reported the bathroom issues to them,...

"We stayed at the resort for three nights and had a very nice stay. Only recommendation is they should shampoo the carpets in the rooms or change to hard floors instead of carpet. The room had a musty odor. Also, if there are guests staying in a room above you it will be likely you will hear them walking around. "
