Shutters on the windows are metal, so when closed, little ambient light is allowed in, but this is a security feature. "We rented this (upstairs) unit and the main level unit, shared with friends. Ideal setup for traveling as 2 couples. The house is clean and welcoming. Furniture is comfortable and there are many outside chairs and lounges. Ms. Flor met us for easy(early) check-in and explained the use of the "off-grid" systems.
