"The Modern Pearl was a beautiful home ! It's only a few blocks from the beach and has a private heated pool which was nice and everything you could possibly need for the pool and beach in the little shed area under the house. The kitchen is fully stocked to cook anything , nice open space , big dinner table. The bedrooms each have their own attached bathrooms which was absolutely great being we had a bigger group and didn't have to wait for bathroom needs and the hot water was continuous. Two things I'd suggest in the bedrooms would be dressers and mattresses toppers to make the beds softer , which is a preference of mine , but neither of these opinions would stop me from renting this place again because I 100% would. The host David was excellent , very helpful and nice. In all you can't go wrong renting this house. One thing I do want to mention because I seen it in another review about there being bed bugs -----there ISN'T ANY BED BUGS . This had us scared so first thing we did before taking anything in was thoroughly checked every bed , couch and crevice in the entire house and didnt find not even a trace of anything. Just thought I'd verify that for the ones who read that one review. We really enjoyed our time in Gulf Shores! I would suggest a restaurant called Tin Top it was the absolute best!!! "

"overall the stay was excellent. the only thing that gave us some trouble was the hot tub was not as hot as initially desired, though it did end up heating up nicely. it was not quite clear from the listing on the original booking that the hot tub and heated pool was an extra charge. the pool was also not heated for an entire 2 days (I think due to low water level is what the display said), so we were only able to use the pool part for one day. other than that everything was amazing!"

"The property overall was a success for our family beach vacation. The fact that there were two fridges and plenty of pantry space was a big perk for us! Also, we were pleased to see that the boardwalk was usable after having been told it wasn’t. This made it extremely easy to get out to the beach! There was plenty of sleep space for 9 families. There were a few things that made it not a 5 star stay. The first being that the pool was not usable until our 4th day. It was green and had debris in it and just did not look clean. I reached out the first day and we were able to get the pool company to come out to get it going. It was just unfortunate that it took 3 days. Another thing was that there was a smart shower system in one of the master bedrooms that was not accessible to guests. We found mold in a couple different spots and some of the sinks were slow to drain. The elevator not working was one thing that we were told ahead of time that would have made it a better stay. All in all, it was a really good beach house that suited our needs and we were certainly able to enjoy our trip!"

"Absolutely perfect location. We had the beach almost to ourselves. It was great having each person in their own room with their own bathroom.It’s a little tired and dated but we didn’t spend enough time inside to matter. We were there for the beach. Really only issue with housekeeping was The grout/tile in kitchen was in need of a deep clean. Maybe soak in bleach. But the appliances and the counters were clean.Same in some bathrooms like powder room. Just a deep grout clean. Showers were clean.Otherwise it was a perfect location and as far as a beach rental 5 stars. People have left beach chairs over the years and there were enough chairs in the storage closet by the carport for our entire group. "

"Location was great, quiet beach, house was clean, comfortable beds, plenty of storage, multiple refrigerators, ice machine, large kitchen and appliances. Could use some mixing bowls. Large TV area and table to gather and eat. Master suite was awesome....nice tub and shower."

"Our hosts had us well prepared prior to arriving and promptly answered any questions we had. Our condo was clean, had everything we needed and wanted. The view and location were marvelous! We were even welcomed with fresh flowers and wine! Had a great time and we highly recommend staying with our hosts!"
