"This family owned villa is run by Francesca and her family. They were phenomenal. The beautiful villa was recently converted into a boutique hotel and has every state of the art amenity. The rooms were large and the bathrooms were spacious! The view from our room over the vineyard was awe inspiring. "What a beautiful place! It’s a wonderful place to take the kids to just be kids and have fun. Our kids took riding lessons and a cooking course, both wonderful. We were too early to enjoy the pool, but that would have been a highlight too if open. We didn’t rent car for this trip, we wanted to force ourselves to just relax, but one would have been needed to explore more or a longer stay. The restaurant was perfect on-site - but make sure to book reservations daily, it gets busy at dinner! "

"Wunderschönes Hotel im alten Kohlebergwerk. Etwas abgeschieden, dafür aber die totale Ruhe. Wir haben super geschlafen! Das Abendessen kann man im Freien geniessen, gute Auswahl und lecker gekocht. Unbedingt jeweils am Morgen reservieren! Einziger Negativpunkt: Das Personal ist beim Frühstück überfordert, da man als Gast nichts selber schöpfen darf. So entstehen Wartezeiten. "
